This Indian rosewood desk with inset leather top was part of a collection of furniture that Jeanneret designed for the public buildings and university of Chandigarh, India. Le Corbusier, his cousin, and he were responsible for the design of the city of Chandigarh, where Jeanneret stayed and lived the rest of his life.
